Inside the recovery project
The operational challenge
An automotive casting foundry in Howrah needed to replace an obsolete 15-ton induction furnace line. The congested site contained cast-iron moulding flasks, heavy beams and copper armature cables. Conventional dealers proposed unclear lump-sum pricing and delayed settlement.
Planning & logistics
A six-member industrial rigging team was planned with appropriate cutting tools, hydraulic equipment, personal protective equipment and container transport. Night-shift operations were selected to minimize disruption to the adjacent production bay.
Weighment & documentation
Sorted steel and copper batches were weighed on electronic platform scales, with readings checked by the client’s inspector. Batch records and weigh slips were documented for reconciliation.
Key outcomes
Recoverable ferrous material was directed toward downstream recycling channels.
Weight records and settlement documentation were prepared for the client’s review.
Publication note: Project quantities, payment amounts and performance claims in the supplied examples require supporting records before being presented as independently verified results.
